What We Believe
As Christians, Anglicans believe in God.
We also believe in Jesus Christ, through whom God can be known by anyone.
We further believe in the Holy Spirit of God, whom Jesus promised to give to all who ask.
This means that Anglicans believe in God the Trinity, named in baptism as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Acknowledgement of Country
Under the sovereignty of the one Creator, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who made all peoples in his own image,
we acknowledge our First Nations People, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of this land upon which we meet.
We pay our respect to all First Nations People and pray for God's blessing on all Australians as we seek reconciliation and justice.
